So, this little cutie pie came in to have some 1 month photos taken of herself and brought her brother Griffin along as well. We ending up doing two sessions, because the first go around Gracie decided she had had enough after the first outfit and some quick pictures with her brother. That being the case, we shifted our attention over to Griffin and he did quite well I think. He’s a handsome fella and you can tell from the photos that he thinks his little sis is pretty neat. We got some great pictures of him by himself and some with Gracie AND even though I thought I missed the window of opportunity with Gracie, I was delighted to find that we got some pretty good frames out of her that first day too. Score!
I really like this one. It’s just a simple moment. Gracie needed her mommy. Mommy picked her up. I snapped a photo. Done.
We had a very teeny window where Gracie was asleep and fortunately we were able to capture some of her in that tranquil newborn sleep that must just be the greatest thing ever. (the window of sleepy time closed about the time I started firing off these giant lights in the studio. Go figure)
Ironically, even though I asked them to come back for another session, I ended up picking most of my favorites from the first one. Just goes to show that the LCD screen on the back of a camera can be very misleading sometimes. Or, maybe it just shows that I have no idea what is going on sometimes. Either way, I was happy with the results, so it doesn’t matter.
That’s it for now. Gracie will be coming once a month until her first birthday though, so expect to see a lot more of her in the future.
