I think every photographer gets a little giddy when the fall season comes. The leaves change, there is color everywhere and the light has a completely different feel to it. It’s rich and flattering and allows you to look at things in a whole new way.
We began with some photos downtown in a dressier outfit. It was a beautiful day and Brittni looked amazing, so we were off to a good start.
We were driving around, looking for a good location for this outfit and all of the sudden there was this big green door. The outside of the door is sheet metal. I have used that side before for other shoots, but I had never seen the other side. It was so cool. (Makes me want to ask them if they would sell it to us.) There was a guy cruising around on a forklift inside this building and we just kind of snuck up and took a few shots in front of it and then headed out.
This was next to the Mathison Art Supply building. Just a neat little alley off University and again the light was fantastic.
Brittni had a spot picked out that was south of town. A little bridge over the Wild Rice River. At least I think it was the Wild Rice. Anyhow it was well worth the drive.
Directly across the road was a corn field and it seemed like as good a place as any to get some shots with her gun.
After we took these, we called it a day.
Talk to you soon.
